Kim Kardashian is remembering Prince — specifically that time she got booted off stage by The Purple One.
The reality star took to Twitter late Friday night, posting a photo of a special (but very awkward!) moment she once shared with the late legendary singer, who died on Thursday at the age of 57.

“I will always remember this moment with one of my favorite artists!” Kardashian, 35, captioned it. “I was so star struck I froze! RIP Prince.”

The snapshot was taken from footage that resurfaced earlier this week following the news of Prince’s death. In the video from February 2011, the “Purple Rain” singer invited Kardashian to the stage during his concert at Madison Square Garden but hilariously gave her the boot for refusing to dance.
“Get off the stage!” he exclaimed, as the crowd broke out into laughter.

At the time of the mishap, Kardashian took to social media to defend herself, tweeting, “I was so nervous I froze when prince touched me!!!!!”

Prince gave the reality star a chance to correct her mistake later on in the night, and she apparently did not disappoint the second time around.
