Sienna hasn’t had the easiest life. After many years of loving care, Sienna’s owner passed away. This beautiful, affectionate kitty had no where to go, and of course missed her human dearly. But thankfully, Tabby’s Place, a fully-equipped cat sanctuary in Ringoes, NJ, stepped in to save the day! Since 1999, they’ve been dedicated to providing a warm and loving home for these wayward cats. As a volunteer of Tabby’s Place wrote on reddit, “we provide love and care to all cats, regardless of age, demeanor, or condition… no kitty lives alone and no kitty lives in a cage, unless it’s absolutely medically necessary.”

Sienna gets plenty of attention, too. “The staff and volunteers are gaga for her because she always runs to the window when she hears someone go by. She’s missing her human very much… she has a lot yet to offer, too,” said the volunteer.

Even after suffering heartache, Sienna still knows how to appreciate life. Every single day, she keeps moving and dancing and loving the people around her. Watching Sienna thrive even after the toughest of circumstances, we are reminded that the world is full of wonder, joy, and healing. She shows us what it means to be strong and love life.

All cat lovers agree — we have a lot to learn from our furry feline friends. As a volunteer from Tabby’s Place says, “There are Sienna’s all over the country who would LOVE you to be their new human!” You could provide a loving home to a beautiful kitty in need, and in turn receive endless gratitude and an appreciation for life itself.
