Infant is supposed to demonstrate new car seat, decides to throw a hilarious fit on live TV instead
A hilarious moment caught on live television when 23-month-old Noah, refused to get into his carseat. Noah was in the middle of demonstrating how to properly sit in the rear-facing carseat when he decided to throw a tantrum. No matter what mother did, little Noah would not sit still on live television.
For some context on why the demonstration was taking place, Pennsylvania recently passed a new law requiring all toddlers under the age of 2 to sit in a rear-facing carseat to ensure safety.
During the broadcast, Tori, an expert from the Children’s Hospital from Philadelphia planned to explain the new law going into effect but instead had a hard time explaining because of Noah’s little act.
From the beginning of the broadcast, the little star was goofing around. If you look at the image below, he even tried to grab the news reporter Mike Jerrick’s mic.
As the mother began her demonstration, the toddler simply refused to comply. Squirming around, kicking his little feet, the toddler even went as far as to tearing the rubber door frame on the van. You can hear the news reporter laughing, saying “This is fantastic,” as he watches Noah resist.
The comedy doesn’t stop there. Upon finally getting Noah in the seat, the mother couldn’t get the seatbelt on little Noah. In the picture below, you can see Noah activating his defense mechanism against the seatbelt. It seems as if the little toddler has had multiple occasions with the seatbelt.
Eventually the mother gave up and Noah somehow ended up “driving” the vehicle.
The news reporter Jerrick was consistently cracking jokes throughout the recording. Asking the expert from the Children’s Hospital, “Would you recommend Noah driving? and if he is going to drive at 23-months, he should be front-facing, right?” The whole broadcasting team had a wonderful, comedic time with Noah and his mother.
The live television broadcast in Pennsylvania was hilarious. A young child just wanting to be a free and a mother who is at a loss of words. Although the demonstration didn’t go exactly as planned, everyone shared a good laugh trying to get Noah in the carseat.
