Man, 27, fatally bludgeoned by rival in the Bronx
A Brooklyn man fatally bludgeoned a rival in the Bronx Friday – before confessing to a bystander moments later, cops said.
Marcus Bellamy, 32, was charged with murder for the 4 p.m. slay in a building on W. 174th St. near Nelson Ave. in Morris Heights, the NYPD said.
Bellamy, of East New York, told a pal who discovered the 27-year-old victim, cops said.
Police also said Friday that they’d arrested two more men in a fatal shooting during a Bronx robbery earlier this month.
Elijah Moody, 21, was charged with murder, and Nathaniel Smith, 32, was charged with robbery in the Aug. 3 death of 40-year-old Divian Connell.
Cops had already arrested Dwayne Francis, 20, on murder charges.
