One that wouldn’t open for all the lonely heart Tupperware with no lid, one full of old batteries and takeaway leaflets and and another that has your secret emergency chocolate stash?

This (slightly scary) woman is here to make you feel bad about your bombsite organisation skills, and by extension the mess of your life. No offence.

Reach for the KonMari Method – stat!

Although actually, don’t, because Marie Kondo is probably an arch rival to Alejandra Costello, aged 31, who is also a professional organiser.

Explaining the video, Alejandra says: ‘I’m going to give you a tour of my super organised home and show you all the organising systems that I have in place that when followed on a daily basis, you’re more efficient, more productive, things are less stressful and life is just more enjoyable.

We’re feeling pretty freaked out by it but apparently that’s not necessary:

‘Now if you’re watching this video and you’re just thinking, wow I’m so behind on getting organised, my house is a mess and I just don’t know where to start, just pick one small project that’s high priority, start it, finish it completely and move on to the next thing.

If you start too many projects at once it can get even more overwhelming on top of the overwhelming clutter you have around your house.

But yours still probably won’t look like her walk-in wardrobe

And that’s about it.

Pretty impressive: HGTV once dubbed her one of the five most organised people in America, and it’s hard to argue with that judgement.
