80-year-olds make a music video to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off,” and it’s absolutely hilarious
You’re never too old to shake the haters off. The residents at Julia Wallace Retirement Village together with their grandchildren wanted to show everyone their incredible energy, making their own rendition of Taylor Swift’s ever-popular “Shake It Off” video. It doesn’t disappoint.
The average age of the people in the video is 82 years! When totaling the ages of everyone in the video, the staff concluded that between all of them it came up to more than 4,000 years. The video disproves so many stereotypes about retirement homes and the elderly. Everyone is lively and such good sports about just letting loose and having fun, and let’s face it, the get ups they’ve got on are kind of hilarious. Who came up with them?
