Daredevil climbs Trump Tower with suction cups
That will leave a mark! A man was spotted climbing Trump Tower in midtown Manhattan on Wednesday, apparently using giant suction cups. Police are on the scene treating the case as a possible jumper.
The climber was going up the East 56th Street side, WABC reported, and had made it to the fifth floor. Video from the site showed police officers apparently trying to talk him down.
Police have opened windows directly above the climber. He moved to the left to avoid being grabbed. In response, police began smashing windows out directly above him while window washers descend from above.

The 600-foot, 58-story skyscraper was built on Fifth Avenue in 1983, quickly becoming a New York City landmark.
There was no indications whether the climber wanted to give the building a “cupping” treatment, popular with many Olympic athletes.
Police Activity: Expect #traffic delays in the area of East 56th St & 5th Ave in Manhattan. Use alternate routes.
