Trailer for football sitcom from LeBron James" Uninterrupted ready to go
CLEVELAND, Ohio — A digital-only sitcom created by LeBron James’ growing media empire about two washed up quarterbacks who try their hand at broadcasting is ready to go.
Now We’re Talking, starring Tommy Dewey (Casual, The Mindy Project) and Tug Coker (The Office) will debut Sept. 14 on go90, a free, mobile entertainment application.
The show was created by James’ Uninterrupted — his online platform for athletes — and Warner Bros., the movie and TV giant that signed James’ SpringHill Entertainment media company to a content production deal last summer.
James is not a producer for the show — unlike most of SpringHill’s other shows, like Cleveland Hustles and Survivor’s Remorse. But Maverick Carter, who is in charge at SpringHill, is an executive producer.
New shows will air every Wednesday in the seven-episode season of Now We’re Talking. The show’s official trailer, which can be viewed above, was released this week.
What’s Now We’re Talking?
According to a news release, NFL players and personalities making cameos on the show include: Shawne Merriman, Arian Foster, Shaun Phillips, Lance Briggs, Landry Fields, Marcedes Lewis, Curt Menefee and Plaxico Burress.
