Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are a pretty private couple, so it makes sense that they would want to keep their six-month-old daughter Esmeralda out of the public eye, but is Ryan taking it too far?

Apparently so! A source tells OKMagazine.com exclusively, “He insists Eva hire security, including a diversion vehicle, whenever she ventures out with Esme.”

Recently, Eva spoke to The Violet Files about dealing with privacy and their daughter. “Ryan and I decided early on to give her as much privacy as we could. And my pregnancy was the first opportunity to give her that,” she explained. “Whether we like it or not, privacy is going to be very difficult for Esmeralda. I think it’s unfair, but that’s our reality.”
