CLEVELAND, Ohio — The curtain rises on the NBA Finals tonight as the Cavaliers begin their quest for the city’s first championship in 52 years.
What better way to celebrate than free stuff?
Cleveland Cinemas is offering a free drink for every popcorn purchase for anyone who shows up in Cavs gear from now until the end of the finals. Locations include Tower City Cinemas, Cedar Lee, Capitol Theatre, Shaker Square, Chagrin Cinemas and Apollo Theatre.
If you can get a ticket to Games 3 or 4 next week at Quicken Loans Arena — they currently start at $289 on Flash Seats — you’ll find a free T-shirt waiting for you at your seat. Can’t get into The Q? The fan fest and watch party outside the arena are free.
Should the Cavaliers go on to actually win the NBA title, everybody eats free at Yours Truly in Independence. The restaurant will offer a free Cavs-themed menu with items such as a Slam Dunk Burger, Moon Dog Egg Muffin and Brew Kettle’s All for One Session IPA beer on a date to be determined.
Even GIF LeBron likes the sound of that.
