CLEVELAND, Ohio — Late in the fourth quarter of Game 4 of the 2016 NBA Finals, Warriors forward Draymond Green was caught on camera punching Cavaliers forward LeBron James in the groin in the middle of play.
It was not the first time in these NBA playoffs that Green has been involved in a physical incident of that nature.
Against Oklahoma City in the Western Conference Finals, he came close to earning a one-game suspension for kicking Thunder center Steven Adams in the groin in Game 3.
That came one game after doing something very similar in Game 2.
After those incidents, it seemed like Green’s extra leg movements had a lot more attention paid to them.
But after the incident in Game 4, the question again is if the league will look at the play and punish Green.
In Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Cavaliers reserve Dahntay Jones got a one-game suspension for this punch to the groin of Toronto Raptors center Bismack Biyombo.
Green has avoided suspension so far, dodging the technical foul and flagrant foul point limits to this point. But will this latest incident earn him a suspension? Vote in the poll below.
