It Looks Like A Small, Compact Car, But When He Opens The Door? UNBELIEVABLE

Biking is a great way to get around without contributing to pollution or, more importantly, traffic (priorities, right?). It’s not exactly the most comfortable for a lot of people. For many, the hang ups of a bicycle include unfavorable weather conditions or general klutziness. Mikael Kjellman has pioneered a prototype for a bicycle car. You heard me. Bicycle car. It’s called PodRide, and it’s the answer to your transportation dreams.

The bike’s full-fabric body is waterproof to keep you warm and dry in any weather. There’s a heated windshield, soft seat with back support, air suspension and studded tires for winter terrain. The four wheels keep you steady and hold you up at a height like any small sedan, but it fits on any bike trail. You can even attach a bike trailer for the kids or for the times you need extra space to carry things home. It’s definitely got some features that make it more appealing than a carbon-emitting metal box of death. Just think about how much air pollution we could cut down if more of us chose a mode of transportation like this.

Kjellman is practically reinventing the wheel, or, I should say, bike. There are so many benefits of bicycling, and the PodRide just highlights all of them. It takes the best of that world and mitigates so many of its downsides. If you’re not convinced yet, the PodRide has an amazing turn radius. It completes hairpin turns like they’re nothing. With a turn radius like that, you know what else you can do in a PodRide? That’s right. Donuts.
