Waiter Sits Down At A Customer’s Table. When He Does THIS, Onlookers Can’t Believe It
Alex Ruiz is a waiter who went above and beyond his call of duty when he went out of his way to help a customer. The unnamed customer had no hands, so he needed help eating. Realizing his conundrum, Ruiz sat down to help the man eat his meal without even batting an eye.
Other customers were touched by this act of kindness. Reginald Widener, a regular at the Cinco de Mayo Mexican Grill, noted that Ruiz was smiling the entire time. He snapped a photo of the two and it quickly went viral, earning hundreds of likes and shares. For a man who was receiving loads of media attention, Ruiz remains remarkably humble, preferring his co-workers to speak for him. One co-worker, Crystal Figueroa, said of him, “He’s a great person. He’s always so nice, and the fact that he just came out of nowhere and helped a man he doesn’t even know have a meal says everything.”
In a world full of attention-seeking behavior, Ruiz only had one thing in mind: to be an example of human decency for his young son. His humility and desire to do something nice for a complete stranger is so incredible to see. Watch his interview in the video below.
