You better 'Believe It,' Plain Dealer has Cavaliers title papers, special sections
CLEVELAND, Ohio — The answer to this week’s most frequently asked question at The Plain Dealer is: Yes. You can still buy copies of Monday’s editions bannering the Cleveland Cavaliers’ NBA championship.
All of the championship week newspapers are being sold at The Plain Dealer’s printing and production facility at 4800 Tiedeman Road, at I-480 in Brooklyn. Sale hours are 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Friday. The papers are selling for the regular cover price of $1.50.
Workers there are asking that you use the entrance that has a traffic light off Tiedeman.
Thursday’s paper will include a 12-page special section with coverage of Wednesday’s downtown parade and festivities.
The Wednesday edition included a 44-page section celebrating the championship season.
Two editions of Monday’s paper were printed. The first edition has the banner headline “Champs.” The second edition carries the banner “Believe It.”
Also available is a separate, 24-page Cavs championship keepsake section, printed on premium paper, selling for $4.95.
On Friday, home-delivered and newsstand copies of The Plain Dealer will include another special section reliving Cavs championship highlights.
