CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland Cavaliers kept their championship title hopes alive on Monday defeating the Golden State Warriors, 112-97, in Game 5 on Monday in Oakland.
So with a couple days before their next matchup and two players scoring 41 points each, do the Cavs need another scoring option? Vote in the poll and share your remarks in the comments section.
LeBron James and Kyrie Irving each scored 41 points followed by J.R. Smith with 10 and Richard Jefferson with eight. Other starters like Kevin Love and Tristan Thompson finished with two and six, respectively.
The Warriors lead the series 3-2 as the seven-game series returns to Cleveland on Thursday. Tipoff is at the Q Arena and will be aired on ABC at 9 p.m.
