Theresa May passion for fashion will bring a touch of glamour to politics

Theresa May’s passion for fashion will bring a touch of glamour to politics.

Yes, it might be a certain kind of glamour… she reminds me of a batty old auntie who doesn’t care what people think of what she wears.

Her taste may not be for everyone, but if she likes it she going to wear it and to hell with you.

Her wardrobe will most definitely shine through the neverending sea of dull grey and navy suits during Prime Minister’s Question Time.

And while women in politics should never be judged by what they wear, it’s refreshing to see a lady who has fun with her clothes.

May’s fun sense of style livens up the corridors of power

I love her quirky touch of style, from the tartan suit to her animal print kitten heels.

She can always be relied up to show off her wild side, who else would wear a pair of thigh-high patent boots to greet the Queen.

Her flamboyance always raises eyebrows

Her flamboyant fashion sense has always raised eyebrows and I hope she continues with her funky footwear when she become the new PM.

She’s also fond of a flamboyant Vivienne Westwood suit which would her set her back a pretty penny with the British designer’s suits going for over £800.

Switching the heels for some funky flats

May has teamed the tartan suit with patent brogues that look just like a pair from Russell and Bromley priced at £215.

And the patent thigh high boots she wore to meet the Queen look remarkably similar to a pair of croc print leather boots costing £465 a pair, also from Russell and Bromley.
