Jennifer Aniston's mother Nancy Dow 'cut the actress out of her will
Jennifer Aniston was cut out of her mother’s will before she died, according to a new report.
In Touch Weekly claims that all of Nancy Dow’s belongings were left to another relative, with the actress receiving nothing.
A source told the publication that Jennifer’s mother ‘changed her will about a year ago, and no one in the family knew a thing about it’.
‘No one in the family knew a thing about it’: Jennifer Aniston’s mother Nancy Dow allegedly cut the actress out of her will before she died. The Friends star is seen left last month; Nancy is pictured right in 2008
The 47-year-old Friends star was estranged from her mom for years, with the pair reuniting just two weeks before Dow died in May at the age of 79.
However despite their estrangement, Jennifer would still assist her mother financially, according to In Touch.
‘Even though Jen and Nancy had a very strained relationship, Jen still paid almost all of Nancy’s bills in her final years,’ the insider claimed.
In Touch reports that Dow bequeathed her property and belongings – including ‘her condo and more than a million dollars that she’d saved’ – to another relative, who was not named.

And among the items left to the unidentified family member was apparently a collection of Dow’s personal writings about her famous daughter.
‘Nancy wrote down everything about Jen, and that material is now in the hands of someone who could profit from it,’ the source alleged.
Jennifer and her rarely seen half-brother John Melick announced Dow’s death in a statement to People on May 25.
‘It is with great sadness that my brother John and I announce the passing of our Mother Nancy Dow,’ the actress shared.
Strained relationship: The 47-year-old has previously said that her mom (seen in 1999) ‘was very critical of her’
‘She was 79 years old and passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends after enduring a long illness. We ask that our family’s privacy be respected as we grieve our loss.’
In Touch previously claimed that Jennifer attended a private funeral service for her mother at Dow’s Los Angeles apartment with husband Justin Theroux.
The Horrible Bosses star has said in the past that she had a complicated relationship with her mom because Dow ‘was very critical of her’.
‘Because she was a model, she was gorgeous, stunning,’ Jennifer told The Hollywood Reporter last year. ‘I wasn’t. I never was. I honestly still don’t think of myself in that sort of light, which is fine.

‘She was also very unforgiving. She would hold grudges that I just found so petty.’
Jennifer’s relationship with her mother became even more strained when Dow published a tell-all book about the star’s life in 1999, titled From Mother And Daughter To Friends: A Memoir.

The pair started to mend their rift in 2005 after Jen’s much-publicised divorce from husband Brad Pitt, but the cracks in their relationship never fully healed.
At the time, she said on Good Morning America: ‘It’s been really nice. It’s crazy what, you know, your life kind of being turned upside down will lead you to. So this is good. It’s baby steps.’
However they had little further contact until 2011 when Dow suffered a stroke – which is rumoured to be the last time they saw each other until two weeks before Dow’s death five years later.
Dow was not invited to Jennifer’s wedding to Justin Theroux, which took place in August of last year.
The star’s father John Aniston was apparently not in attendance either, although she has remained close to him over the years.
Dow was married to the soap actor from 1965 to 1980, having previously been married to Jack Meick from 1956 to 1961, who is the father of Jen’s half-brother.
Meanwhile, Jennifer penned a powerful op-ed which was published by The Huffington Post on Tuesday, saying she is ‘fed up’ with constant speculation over whether she and Justin will have a child.
‘We are complete with or without a mate, with or without a child,’ she wrote. ‘We don’t need to be married or mothers to be complete. We get to determine our own “happily ever after” for ourselves.’
Still close: The Horrible Bosses star has a close relationship with her father John Aniston, seen with her in 2012, when she was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame
