CLEVELAND, Ohio — Bismack Biyombo scored just seven points and isn’t the Toronto Raptors’ everyday starter at center.
His 26 rebounds and four blocks were vital Saturday night in Toronto’s 99-84 Game 3 win against the Cavaliers, cutting Cleveland’s series lead to 2-1.
Biyombo had 18 rebounds on the defensive side, which Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue attributed to a 35-percent shooting night (28-of-79). Lue pointed to Biyombo’s eight offensive rebounds as vital to Toronto’s performance.
That wasn’t all the 6-foot-9 (normally backup) center did. So much for missing regular starter Jonas Valanciunas. This multimedia slideshow takes a look at Biyombo’s play.
