CLEVELAND, Ohio — Tyronn Lue gave a simple explanation Friday night after the Cavaliers’ 113-87 win in Toronto to clinch a return to the NBA Finals.
LeBron James set the tone early, Lue said, for a team that struggled in the previous opening moments at Air Canada Centre. James finished with 33 points, a playoff high this season, as the Big Three of him, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love combined for 83 points.
They also took 60 of the team’s first 65 shots. The Big Three even shot 18 of the Cavaliers’ 21 free throws.
As a result, James is headed to his sixth straight NBA Finals.
