A zoo has just asked the internet to name its new baby gorilla.
Yes… They really, sincerely did do this.

Philadelphia Zoo put out a call for people to help name the six-day-old baby, which was published in local paper the Philly Inquirer.
It’s a pretty big deal for the city, as the as-yet-unnamed baby is the first to be born at the zoo in 20 years.
But obviously, after the paper innocently tweeted ‘Baby gorilla makes debut at Philadelphia Zoo; naming contest to come’, the internet basically wet itself with joy.
You can probably already guess what the suggestions were like.
…Ad infinitum.
