Meet Lucifer (or Luc for short). Luc’s a rescue cat who lives in a veterinary clinic in Perm, Russia, where he has a surprising job… he takes care of the other animals!

Poor Luc doesn’t know how to walk on all four legs. When his new owners found him, his back legs and lower spine were broken, probably squished by a door or some other heavy object. However, he still sees ventures around and about the clinic like he owns the place!

Through his trials and tribulations, Luc has earned the amazing gift of empathy. When he sees other injured cats and dogs in the clinic, he knows how to cuddle up and provide emotional support to them. He’s dedicated to comforting these animals in need in spite of his mobility issues.

This little nurse-cat is a welcome presence to these worried creatures. They’re all survivors, and they need moral encouragement alongside the medical care that the hardworking staff and volunteers provide.

Suffering has made Luc a very resilient cat. He’s dedicated to helping those in need, to show them that life is indeed worth living even after the toughest of circumstances.
