Adorable Service Dog Pulls The Perfect Pose For School Yearbook Photo

A loyal service dog has been honored with a special spot alongside her 14-year-old master in his school yearbook.

Officials at Good Hope Middle School in West Monroe, Louisiana, figured that five-year-old goldendoodle Presley was as much a part of the student body as any of the children.

After all, she’s attended class alongside Joseph “Seph” Ware every day over the last three-and-a-half years.

So they asked seventh grader Joseph, who was diagnosed with the severe muscle-wasting condition Duchenne muscular dystrophy when he was just three-years-old, whether he’d like her to feature in the photographic book.

And he totally agreed, reports The Dodo.

According to Inside Edition, Joseph forgot to tell his family about the photo shoot. 

Another parent, Todd Walker, posted the adorable picture of Presley’s yearbook photograph to Facebook on Apr. 28, and the image (above) is now going viral.

Joseph’s mom Lori Watkins-Ware heaped praise on school officials, saying that for Presley to be so welcomed by staff and students alike was “very refreshing.” 

She also said she was “kind of stunned at all the attention.” “It’s humbling. I’m glad Presley is making the world happy,” she told Fox News.

But the school’s yearbook adviser Sonya Hogg said there was no question about Presley being included in the tome. 

“She goes everywhere Seph goes. She knows exactly what to do in each teacher’s class. She knows where to go, she’s quiet, she’s still. She never bothers or disrupts anyone,” Hogg told Today.com.

“She’s part of our school. And if we’re going to put everybody in our school in the yearbook, then Presley needs to be in the yearbook,” Hogg added.
